With tax season coming to an end, many of you are awaiting the all rewarding
tax return. Most individuals spend their tax returns on "FUN" items
such as new flatscreen tv's or an ipod. Im here to remind you that you can
put your tax return to work for you! By saving it, you can get a head start
on next year's expenses, or better yet, put it away for the long term for
an expensive cost down the road!
Summer is coming and that means another school year is on its way. For those
of you with children, saving for college should be on your mind. With college
costs growing at an exponential rate, it is easy to see why saving for your
kids college is important. This month we are going to discuss the different
approaches to saving for college; mainly, the 529 plan.
